DEFTONES Joined By BAD BRAINS Singer At Baltimore Concert (Video)
October 28, 2012Legendary BAD BRAINS singer H.R. (born Paul D. Hudson) joined DEFTONES on stage this past Friday night (October 26) at Rams Head Live! in Baltimore, Maryland to perform two songs: a cover version of BAD BRAINS' "Right Brigade" and the DEFTONES song "Bored". Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below.
DEFTONES bassist Sergio Vega took tweeted after the concert, "Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I would perform a song with H.R.!"
DEFTONES' seventh studio album, "Koi No Yokan", will be released on November 13. The group worked again with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who helmed 2010's "Diamond Eyes" and has also worked on albums by RUSH and FOO FIGHTERS.
DEFTONES has tapped Christopher Mills (MODEST MOUSE, INTERPOL) to direct the video for the song "Tempest". The clip will make its online debut during the coming weeks.
BAD BRAINS will release its new album, "Into The Future", on November 20 via Megaforce. The CD features the classic lineup of H.R., Darryl Jenifer, Dr. Know and Earl Hudson.
